Duck 305, 315, 215:
- Because of their low cost, wide compatibility and excellent adhesives characteristics, many polyvinyl acetate
solutions are treated as commodity items in the adhesive industry. They are suited for bonding styrofoam, insuiation materials,
glass wool and felts.
- PVACs are most widely used in the form of a dispersion of solid resin in water. The property of excellent adhesion of PVAC
emulsions to cellulosic materials gave rise to a variety of applications. They are particularly suited for a variety of woods
including papers, alumium foils and tiles.
